\"\"<\/a>Fellows Exhibit is a Rietveld\/Sandberg initiative to showcase the research results of the 16 artists that entered our Fellowship trajectory in 2020-2021. With the aim of facilitating and supporting artistic research projects by alumni, tutors and guests, each fellowship project is conducted in close collaboration with the departments of Sandberg Instituut and Rietveld Academie. With this, the programme fosters relationships between the educational programmes, research activities, and societal questions.<\/p>\n

With the intention of developing a more specific research policy, Rietveld Academie and Sandberg Instituut have currently defined three fields of research: Artificial Intelligence, The City and Materiality. The establishment of three distinct research areas proves to be important for the development of our institute, art education as well as a broader societal context.<\/p>\n

This symposium and exhibition features contributions by:<\/p>\n

Amy Suo Wu, Nicola Baratto and Yiannis Mouravas, Marjan van Aubel, Derrais Carter, Quinsy Gario, Jeroen Kramer, Nina Glockner, David Bennewith, Noha Ramadan and Swani Vinton, Mo Veld and Mika Perlmutter, Oskar Johanson, Marie Ilse Bourlanges and Elena Khurtova.<\/p>\n

13.30 \u2013 20.30: \u201cBlack Revelry Quiet Storm Reprise\u201d<\/strong> live marathon broadcast of all three episodes of the Black Revelry Quiet Storm radio show with a special closing set from DJ Lynn\u00e9e Denise. In collaboration with IF I CAN\u2019T DANCE, I DON\u2019T WANT TO BE PART OF YOUR REVOLUTION and Ja Ja Ja Nee Nee Nee.<\/p>\n

20.30-21.30: \u201cBlack Revelry: In Honor of \u2018The Sugar Shack\u2019\u201d<\/strong> book launch with Derrais Carter and publication contributors in conversation, introduced by Megan Hoetger. Supported by the Netherland-America Foundation.<\/p>\n

*note that because of renewed covid measures it is required to wear a mask when walking on the school campus. When sitting down in a seat, the mask can be removed. Additionally, there will be a max. amount of people allowed in the space where the symposium takes place, so we will let people in on a first come basis until we are full<\/p>\n
