For her fellowship project van Aubel is working on solar infrastructure. Something that in the urban context so far has largely been implemented as \u201cadd-ons\u201d to existing buildings (roofs, fa\u00e7ades etc.) Marjan van Aubel\u2019s approach is to research what is needed for a Solar Democracy and how this infrastructure would function. Marjan van Aubel is an award-winning solar designer graduated from the Royal College of Art and the Rietveld Academy (DesignLAB). Van Aubel has since exhibited at institutions such as the MoMA New York, V&A, the Design Museum and Stedelijk Museum.<\/p>\n
