Today we are anxious about ground pollution, aging, obesity, food safety, etc. Our surrounding is perceived as a potential source of disease and so life becomes a quest in favor of health, a defense and fortification of the body as an almost obsessive pursuit. We need some sort of an urbanist mama, that is an imagination of a place where we could relax and depend upon, like in the arms of someone we love, we trust. Urbanism has to enable us to choose between different models of life. We have to divide the cities into themed environments that will then correspond to radical nobel forms of governance.<\/p>\n

Since 2008 he is the editor of the Solution series<\/a> published by Sternberg Press. The book series aims at critical proposals for problems that arise from a globally instable geo-political climate. By bundling articles in a book, Solution also automatically becomes a critique on its own medium, examining the role and effect of intellectual analysis. Furthermore, Niermann is co-founder of Fiktion<\/a>, a project that utilizes the benefits of the digital to \u2018raise the profile of challenging literature and improve its means of distribution\u2019.<\/p>\n The Knight’s Move is a series of lectures by eminent international speakers who stand out by their unusual, enlightening and inspirational visions concerning the city, urbanity, the public domain, and community.
