The new work of Oorebeek is an enrichment of the international sculpture collection\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sculptureinternationalrotterdam.nl\/\">Sculpture International Rotterdam<\/a>\u00a0(SIR) at the entrance of the \u2018Museum Quarter\u2019. Oorebeek (Pernis, 1953) made this work especially for the Parkhotel commissioned by SIR and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.openbarekunst.nl\/info\">BKOR<\/a>\u00a0(both part of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbkrotterdam.nl\/\">CBK Rotterdam<\/a>). \u00a0The Mondriaan Foundation and the city of Rotterdam made the realization possible.<\/p>\n<p>Mini-symposium<br \/>\nBefore the festive opening SIR and BKOR organize in the program series<i> Z-Files, Kunst en de Stad <\/i>a mini-symposium in which the new work of Willem Oorebeek is central.
